Our worship services offer a dynamic response to the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Colossians 3 explains much of what a believer should live like in light of being "heavenly citizens." At the end of the list, the Apostle Paul encourages us to teach and admonish one another with singing, and specifically, songs that are full of the Gospel work of Jesus Christ. The songs we sing are a reflection of this principle.
We believe the Bible is our curriculum for all of life and practice. It serves as the foundation for our ministries and especially the preaching ministry on Sunday mornings. Pastor Jeff does an excellent job explaining passages of Scripture and finding application for the believer. Often there is a call to action and response, making the Bible personal and meaningful.
Ultimately, we trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to make the ministry in song and preaching to have impact in the life of those who gather for worship every Sunday. He is the giver of life and sustainer of faith. Everything we do rests in His power to accomplish our ministry for God's glory.
