Jeff Willetts, Lead Pastor
Cathy and I came to Bellefontaine in 1995 and we fell in love with the people of Calvary. We raised our three sons here at Calvary and we are thankful for the ministry this church has had in shaping them spiritually. Now as grandparents, our goal is to direct the hearts of another generation to be salt and light for our Savior.
As the teaching pastor at Calvary, I use Nehemiah 8:8 as a reminder of my responsibility: They read from the book, from the Law of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading. (ESV)
Mark Warren, Music & Adult Ministries
Darcie and I arrived at Calvary in the summer of 2010. We have been married for 20 years, and the Lord has blessed us with five children. It's been my privilege to lead worship for God's people in various churches, both on staff and as a volunteer, for nearly 25 years. My parents bought me a beginner guitar one Christmas way back in the 90's, and I've never looked back! From being a Bible student at Cedarville University to my studies at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, I enjoy teaching for the sake of building into lives the heart of Christ. My goal is for our people to reflect the Lord Jesus in all areas of life through a vibrant study of God's Word. I love discipleship and seeing people growing in their daily walk with the Lord. Recently, I've started a blog using our church's mission statement for my own faith journey, putting into writing an understanding of practical theology for the Christian life. Follow along at Glorify. Train. Engage.
Donny Macaluso, Youth & Family Ministries
I was born and raised in Bellefontaine and have been involved at Calvary since 1997. I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior while on a retreat with our youth group (Calstumi) in 1998. In 2011, I had the opportunity to spend 9 months in Israel with Baptists for Israel Institute serving the Israeli people and earning a Master’s Degree in Israel Studies. It was during this time, that I met my wife, Tirzah, who was also studying with BII. We were married in October 2012 and now have 3 beautiful children.
Tirzah and I began ministry with Calvary in January 2013, starting an internship here for 6 months and then was called on staff as our Youth and Families Pastor in August 2013. My passion is to glorify God by loving people, leading them to Christ, and helping them understand what they believe and why they believe it. I'm an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, teaching archery, watching football and baseball, and I'm also a team member of Take A Stand Outdoors.
