Sara Bratka, Treasurer
Sara is from Fairborn, Ohio but she has lived in this area for 40 years. Sara was saved at church camp so she has a soft spot for church camp to this day. Remarkably, Sara met her husband, Dan, on a bus to prison. They were both Law Enforcement majors headed to a field trip. Sara is passionate about her 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She prays that all of them will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus. Sara strives for excellence in all that she does. She enjoys cross stitching and reading.
Sandy Stapleton, CBC Administrative Assistant
Sandy is from West Liberty, Ohio. She became a Christian at the age of 9 and was baptized at 16 when she truly wanted God to be Lord of all her life. After graduating from Taylor University she and her husband, Reno, moved to Lafayette, IN so he could attend Purdue University. Upon Reno’s graduation, they returned to West Liberty to start a family that now consists of 4 grown children, their 3 spouses, and 3 of the best grandchildren. Sandy loves working out, teaching Bible Study, scrapbooking and cooking. She is passionate about kids knowing Jesus so they can serve him all the days of their lives.
Nikki Slemmons, CCS Administrative Assistant
Nikki is from Belle Center, Ohio. She was saved at 8 years old after AWANA. She and Aaron were married after she graduated from OSU with a degree in Communications. They have 3 wonderful children. She sees her work at Calvary as a ministry to parents, teachers and students. She loves to garden, grow flowers and cook.
Joe Kyner, Information Technology Coordinator
Joe was born and raised in the Northeast and landed in Ohio after serving 10 years in the Marines. He was saved at 10 years old and he fully submitted his life to Jesus at 25. He and his wife, Valeri, have been married for 3 years and they have 2 sons. He is passionate about his faith and family. He enjoys playing video games.
Dan Johnson, Custodian
Dan lives in Russell Point with his wife, Rita. He became a Christian at the age of 21 when he came to the place in life that he realized he was sinner and needed forgiveness and Jesus was the only way to have his sins forgiven. Dan and Rita have 4 daughters, 3 sons-in-law and 2 wonderful granddaughters and a grandson. Dan’s life motto is “Whatever you do, do as unto the Lord.” He enjoys playing basketball, fishing, golfing and watching the Bengals.
Abby Roell, CCS Treasurer
Abby was saved at the age of 6 after reading Keys for Kids with her mom after Sunday evening church. She graduated from OSU with a degree in Agri-Business and met her husband Dennis on a blind date her senior year. They now live in the Belle Center area, and run a small grain farm, full of animals and 4 busy kids. In their spare time, they work on their fixer-upper farmhouse. Abby also enjoys reading and working in her flower gardens.
