A vibrant part of Calvary’s body is its youth programs, aka "CalStuMi" (Calvary Student Ministries). These are well-crafted programs for junior high called S.A.L.T. (Saved, Accepted, Loved, Transformed), and senior high called L.I.G.H.T. (Lead, Impact, Grow, Honor, Trust). CalStuMi exists to lead young people into growing devotion to God, a meaningful direction in life, and a burning desire to impact others. Friendships are built through activities, study, worship, and ministry opportunities.
The teenage years can be difficult but we hold high expectations for our youth by encouraging spiritual growth both personally and as a group. Both programs meet every Wednesday night at 6:30pm all year long, as well as numerous other times for activities and small group functions. Just as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with both God and men (Luke 2:52), we want our youth to be growing mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually.
